This little girl keeps our family hoppin. She is usually the first one to wake up in the morning with a groggy/grumpy "I want some cereal," she has the most infectious pit of the stomach belly laugh, and she LOVES to have fun and be on the go. I wanted to mix it up a bit and get the birthday girl PopTarts but she decided her usual bowl of multi-grain Cherrios cereal sounded better.
A birthday party for June would not be complete without strawberries, cupcakes, and friends. June LOVES her food (wonder where she gets that from) and really LOVES her friends. She cannot be at home for more than a few minutes without asking what our plans are for the day and who is she going to play with. We decided on a cupcake party at the park after school with all of her friends and their siblings.
June totally runs the show in our home but gets shy in different situations (like having all eyes on her to blow out her birthday candles). She takes a little warming up to but once shes come around this happy, spicy, girl is so much fun to be around.
June LOVES her daddy. Her entire face lights up when she sees him, a total Daddy's girl.
What a lucky girl to have so many wonderful friends.
It's good to be 4.
Playing with one of her birthday presents, a Sweet Shoppe play-doh set.
For being as shy as she is sometimes, this girl really lets loose behind closed doors. This microphone she got for her birthday was a huge hit (Thanks Momoo).
The birthday girl taking a ride at sunset in her new car (a hand-me down from a friend). Not only does she drive cars but this determined chick potty trained herself at 2, taught herself to swim at 3, and a few weeks ago took her training wheels off her bike and took off full speed ahead. She is mature beyond her years and I often treat her older than she really is. We love our June-bug. It was a great birthday and we are all so lucky to have this cute 4 year old in our lives.
