5 months.

My sweet Nollie Pollie. This guy has turned into one smiley baby. Nolan continues to love attention and often cries when he's not getting it, but he is so hard to walk away from because he is so loveable. Hand sucking is still his favorite hobby and playing in the jump-a-roo has become pretty fun too. In a effort to try to "bulk him up" we started giving our little man rice cereal and he is lovin the new addition to his diet. He has had a cough for a month now, been on antibiotics, a steroid, and breathing treatments, but he really has not been too phased by it all. The nights are still long but we all just take naps from time to time to get us through. We sure do love our happy guy.

Feel the LOVE.

Happy Valentine's Day

(I thought dessert would be a flop because the power went out and I had no way of heating up the chocolate. Thankfully, I married a resourceful eagle scout who thought to heat up the chocolate on the bbq.)

4 months.

Sweet Nolan. I feel like it has taken four months but this little guy has finally adjusted to life on earth. He had his first cold and was put on an antibiotic for a bronchial infection. While we were at the doctor we discovered that Nolan had only gained 12 ounces in two months (weight: 11lbs. 12 oz.). There is no chub on him and that is something I am not used to from anyone in our family. The doctor put him on some special formula to fatten him up. He is completely bottle-fed now and he is much happier now that I am not starving him. Nolan LOVES his hands and he pretty much chews on them all day. He has also become a total chatter-box which brightens my day to hear such sweet sounds. We love having this little man in our family and we are glad he loves us too!
