Brush it off...

Despite what many may think, Charlie is not the toughest of kids. He seems to whine and need some sort of comfort after the most minor bumps and bruises. We have been trying to teach him to "brush it off" if he falls or trips, he will get up and brush his hands on his shirt, trying to be tough. For the big falls we do comfort him and "kiss it better" but often his crying is just for attention. Today Charlie stubbed his toe, ever so slightly I might add, on the door and he looked at me all pouty-lipped. I told him he was okay and to "brush it off." A second later I see him sitting in the hallway with his toe up to his mouth "kissing it better." The funny thing was he kept kissing it over and over again... it must have been pretty painful to need so many kisses!

Party like it's 2009!

Two single guys and the newly married man showing off their dancing skills.
Charlie was quite the party animal at Steven and Melinda's wedding reception in California. He was loving the dancing and music. He's always up for a PARTY!!

A little slow dance with Brooklyn Badger.
Someone else knows how to party... go Ryan! I wonder what Josh is thinking of your moves.
The boy cousins: Joshua, Zachary, and Charlie.
A little break from dancing for some duck-duck-goose anyone? Sweet Andy played with Charlie when everyone else took off.

Shh, don't tell the wedding planners. Looks like the clean-up crew got a little daring after the reception was over.
