3 months

Three months old already? June had a doctor's appointment last week, she was 23.5 inches long (75th percentile) and weighs 12.5 pounds (90th percentile). She is growing like a weed! June is becoming happier with every passing day but she still lets us know when she is upset. I joke that she is my little "ticking time bomb," as calm and quiet as can be one minute and then exploding the next. Whenever she is crying Charlie tells her "happy boy, happy boy." My little munchkins... life is pretty crazy but there are many laughs and smiles too!

My babies' Daddy.

As we were leaving church today Charlie saw Adam walking through the parking lot. I rolled the window down and Charlie yelled "Hi Adam, hi!" The one day set aside to honor father's and Charlie decides to start calling Adam by his name. We love you honey, I'm glad you're my babies' Daddy.

Martino Moments.

Look at these two, hammin' it up for the camera. We had a fun time with the Martino's in town. Grace and Charlie had a love-hate relationship. They were either best-buds or totally pushing each others buttons. I think I heard the word "MIIIIIINE!!" uttered a thousand times and Charlie had more time-outs for hitting Grace than I care to mention. But let's focus on the happy moments....
I took this picture thinking these two looked so cute just standing there looking outside. Well, after they stood there for a while, a long while, I realized they were both biting on the metal part of the screen. What the heck?
A carousel ride at the mall. Nice face Gracie-girl! And below, Charlie and Grace are getting cozy with baby June.
We went to the street fair the night before the Martino's went home. Charlie and Gracie danced the night away. We sure do miss you guys.

The Happiest Place on Earth.

We have had a lot of family in town recently so of course Disneyland has been on the agenda. Momoo, Adam holding June, Audrey, Charlie and Hailey riding the Winnie the Pooh ride. Charlie was not a fan of Eeyore!
I refused to ride the teacups. I have memories as a kid going on this ride with my dad. He got it spinning so fast that I always got off feeling sick.

Waiting in the Finding Nemo Submarine line.
Father-daughter time.

Fyi- It's a Small World is an excellent ride for nursing a baby!
The tortilla factory.

Headband Mania.

As part of the month of June I wanted to get my little lady all decked out with some hair accessories. My sister Emily was in town and our girls were born only 3 days apart. While we were hanging out at my mom's house we had a "bow night" that had been months in the making. We made 20 plus bows, flowers and hairbands for our girls. We got a little carried away, here are some pictures of the bows in full effect!

Half Marathon

Adam ran the Laguna Hills Half Marathon on Memorial Day. He trained for a couple months and then a week before the marathon started having major knee pain. It was the same knee he had acl surgery on a few years ago. The day of the marathon Adam was not sure if he would finish the race. Well, he pushed through and finished with an incredible time of 1:58:52. What a stud! (Check out the progression of pictures. He goes from stud-muffin status, to a little winded, then to "I think I can, I think I can," and finally to complete misery.)

Cuddle-bug.

June and I took a nap together today. She fell asleep in my arms and I loved it.

The month of...

JUNE
I decided that I wanted to make June a special month for June (thanks for the idea Desirae). She is not named after the month but since the month is her name why no make it "her month". When she is older I can do fun things with my girl throughout the month and make it a special time for her. For now, the only spoiling I can do is feed her every second of the day, which I do already, so I'll see what else I can come up with. This month is dedicated to June, my sweet baby girl.
