Brush it off...
Despite what many may think, Charlie is not the toughest of kids. He seems to whine and need some sort of comfort after the most minor bumps and bruises. We have been trying to teach him to "brush it off" if he falls or trips, he will get up and brush his hands on his shirt, trying to be tough. For the big falls we do comfort him and "kiss it better" but often his crying is just for attention. Today Charlie stubbed his toe, ever so slightly I might add, on the door and he looked at me all pouty-lipped. I told him he was okay and to "brush it off." A second later I see him sitting in the hallway with his toe up to his mouth "kissing it better." The funny thing was he kept kissing it over and over again... it must have been pretty painful to need so many kisses!

that is too cute!!!
That is awesome!! That kid is such a stud
He is so cute! That is awesome that he is learning to self soothe - tee hee! On behalf of his manly reputation, I do think toe stubs can hurt BAD! By the way, we are so excited you guys are having a little girl so close in age to Shea!
That's okay that he's a weakling like his old man, it's nothing to be ashamed of.
Hilarious!!!!!
