Think PINK!!
Well, if the pink background didn't already give it away, we are having a GIRL. I originally thought I wanted a boy, Charlie has been so much fun and I thought he needed a brother to be buddies with. Then, for all the practical reasons, like already having boy stuff, I just felt like that would be best. So when we got the news today I started crying. I shed a few tears when we found out Charlie was a boy, happy tears, I really wanted to have a boy first. Then today, I really cried. To the point I had to catch my breath. The great thing is, they were HAPPY TEARS. I think all along, logically, having a boy just made sense but I guess deep down I really wanted a GIRL. Adam is happy too and I know Charlie will be a great big brother to his little sis, maybe he can give her some pointers on her hair!

I am seriously so excited for you guys! I can so picture you guys with a girl and know she will be super cute and always sporting the latest styles. I'm so glad you had happy tears. I think finding out just makes it all so much more real. And just think that our girls will be super close in age and can be great buddies!

Congrats on the GIRL you guys!! Oh the fun you will have with Charlie and "little girl" Koch! Witnessing the brother and sister relationship between Ethan and Ellie has been one of the greatest and most wonderful things to experience as a parent... you will love it! We're very happy for you guys!

I was so shocked when Dave gave me the news. I think I just pictured you guys having another boy, too. What a fun switch now to have a girl!! Love your new family photo & pic of Charlie-boy. Congratulations!!

I remember crying too when I found out I was having a girl.....and then I REALLY cried when she was born because all those ultrasounds were really true! I definitely am happy I have more boys, but I believe deep down most women want a girl at some point. Even if we suppress those feelings for our adoring public.
Congrats to you all - girls are wonderful - as you well know - my girls have pretty much been easier than my boys.
But I love them all!
oooh - congrats!! how fun to get to have one of each. I love the difference that is inherent in them both - and there is something special about little girls (and little boys) - hard to have a favorite!
